T-moldings join wood floors in two separate rooms.  They are also recommended as a transition between ecofinishes wood floor and another floor of approximately the same height.

quarter round

Quarter rounds are used against backboards, toe kicks, and other fixed objects.  The rounded shape creates a subtle blend between the floor and the wall.

Stair noses are used as a transition when placing planks or strips on stairs, landings, or step downs.  They provide a safe way to finish your wood flooring on your staircase by hiding the edges of the wood flooring where the two floors meet.
